Construction Survivor Website Design
In order to sell their product, Construction Survivor needed an attractive site that kept people moving through the site, offered intelligent e-commerce, and a logical organization of information. In addition to a website, the startup company needed an attractive logo that could be represented on clothing and swag that they have available for purchase. They wanted everything to have an all-American, working-class feel that appealed to their audience- who are people in the construction business.
First off, the Jennergy team got to work on designing Construction Survivor’s logo. Through the use of patriotic colors, an iconic custom illustration, and the American flag, the logo that Jennergy designed works not only as a logo, but as a great piece of artwork to place on clothing and souvenirs. It reflects the views of the client and their clients, has a powerful look, and communicates the client’s message at the same time.
When Jennergy moved on to the website, the team expanded on the concept of the logo to create a custom website that thoroughly matched the identity and the client. The challenge in creating this e-commerce website was to interest people in the product who are experiencing the worst of the economic recession. Because this company sells products for people who are experiencing economic hardship, the design and organization of the site and it’s information was crucial. With this in mind, the team highlighted the fact that the sales proceeds of all of the products will benefit those who are worse off than themselves. In addition, the team used a softer sales approach, using language that is more helpful than sales-driven.
